When the month of February rolls around, the focus immediately goes to Valentine’s Day, where love and romance are highlighted. But I wonder how our relationships and marriages would be if we focused on love the other 364 days of the year.
I tell the Church all the time that “love” is a verb. It’s something you DO - not just something you say. God has told us in His Word that love should be our primary goal, and when we don’t show love, we compromise our testimony and our witness.
How is your love walk? Jeremiah 31:3 says, “With lovingkindness I drew them…”. Are you loving? Are you kind? If you struggle in this area, ask God to soften your heart, so that you can emulate His attributes. Give the love that you want to receive.
