Last month, I announced my retirement, and as I begin to reflect on my pastoral journey I can’t help but thank God for GRACE! 29 years ago, I had no idea of what awaited me. I was excited, yet nervous, about making such a major move; but I trusted God to both guide and provide.
29 years later, there are no words to express the joy that I have received from finding my “tribe,” and being able to grow in grace with such a marvelous Church. God has been good to me, and while there are many lessons that can be gleaned from my experience, the most important lesson I can share is that you should simply trust God.
He has planned a life so much better than anything you can think or imagine. Ephesians 3:20 rings in my mind, because God is able to do exceeding abundantly more than we can ask or think! Don’t worry - just trust, and you will never be disappointed with God’s agenda for your life!
